Collaborating with Toronto producer Josh Korody (Breeze, Nailbiter) and mastered by Jesse F Keeler (Death From Above 1979, MSTRKRFT), I wrote "Mad Melancholia" about mentally spiralling - those late-night thoughts that keep you from falling asleep, fading in and out of reality.

"Loose Ends" is about imaging running into an old love, or maybe a close friend you had a falling out with -- picturing the best and worst-case scenario how the interaction would play out, and if that relationship could be repaired.
